Position Summary:

The Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at Washington and Lee University invites applications for a part-time Chinese lecturer position. This position is annually renewable, if there is need.

Essential and Related Functions:

Responsibilities include teaching of Chinese language at all levels.

Minimum Qualifications:

MA in Chinese, Teaching Chinese as a Second Language, linguistics or related fields, native or near-native fluency in Chinese, strong English language skills (the finalist must complete a required English language proficiency interview via Skype) and demonstrated excellence in teaching.
